12 Gallagher Lane – un salon d’art announces Larry Block as Art Salon Director and Principal Curator

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 6, 2012) 12 Gallagher Lane is pleased to announce the appointment of Larry Block as Art Salon Director and Principal Curator.

“We are honored that Larry is joining 12 Gallagher Lane — his depth of knowledge and expertise in Artist Representation and Sales makes him a strong and significant addition to the Salon,” says Mon Reve LLC Managing Principal Derek Cabaniss.

Larry began his career in New York CIty at the Magna Gallery in 1988, and joined the Eleonore Austerer Gallery in San Francisco shortly after in 1990. He has since been a staple in San Francisco’s Fine Art scene, joining the prestigious Serge Sorokko Gallery in 1994 up until his appointment at 12 Gallagher Lane.

“I’ve watched the growth of 12 Gallagher Lane over the last few years and am thrilled about this opportunity,” reflects Art Salon Director Larry Block. “I am excited to be able to participate in this intimate ‘salon’ and its continued growth in the SoMa art scene.”
