12 Gallagher Lane announces our Fall exhibition calendar with the return Artist Jonah Ward on September 1, 2011

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 8, 2011) – 12 Gallagher Lane is announcing Artist Jonah Ward’s return to the gallery in a Private Reception and Artist Introduction on September 1, 2011. Our Visiting Artist program showcases emerging and mid-career artists, creating and facilitating a constructive and compelling dynamic. Jonah will return to fulfill his post as well as open the fall exhibitions with a Private Reception and Artist Introduction on September 1 at 5:30 pm.

Jonah has cemented himself as a successful and noted emerging Bay Area artist. In 2009, Jonah was named by 7×7 Magazine as “an artist to watch.” He participated in the 2010 amfAR Gala at the Four Seasons San Francisco, and was chosen in a juried selection process for UCSF’s Art for Aids auction this Fall. Jonah has also had both local and global media attention from sources like California Home + Design, 7×7, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Japan Airways’ JAL Skyward Magazine.

Gallery Director Derek Cabaniss reflects, “We are excited to be a part of Jonah’s continued growth as a person and as a talented, young artist. Not only have those close to the Gallery followed his flourishing as an artist, he has also garnered recurring attention from media outlets and the many admirers of his work.
